Will there be Bacterial Issues for water injected compressor?

Rumor 1: The working temperature of water-lubricated oil-free compressors is 40 to 50 degrees Celsius, which is easy to breed bacteria.

First of all, the growth of bacteria must meet the following four basic conditions: 1. Sufficient nutrition 2. Appropriate temperature 3. Appropriate pH 4. Necessary atmospheric environment. When there are no nutrients, bacteria do not have the conditions to grow. This is why in the summer, milk or soy milk will deteriorate after one day, but a glass of water will not cause any problem even if it is left for several months. In the working system of a water-lubricated oil-free compressor in China, although the temperature and pH meet the conditions for bacterial growth, there are basically no nutrients needed for bacterial growth, and the environmental pressure is several times atmospheric pressure, which does not meet the basic conditions for bacterial growth.

In practical applications, as long as the water in the water vapor separation barrel is released and tested, it will be found that the water in the water vapor separation barrel has less bacteria than tap water. Rumor 3: When the water-lubricated oil-free compressor is not in use, the machine produces a large amount of bacteria.
