PET stretch blow molding uses pre-blow (≈ 8–12 bar) then final blow (≈ 25–40 bar, 40 bar ≈ 580 psi) to biaxially orient the preform. Oil in the air can fog the bottle or contaminate the product — so oil-free is the norm for food/beverage PET.
CMN delivered the world’s first 40 bar water-lubricated oil-free screw compressor (2015) — proven PET duty.
Near-isothermal compression keeps discharge low even at 40 bar → reliability for continuous lines.
Full range TÜV Class 0 → no oil fog on bottles.
Duty (bar) | Typical CMN model class | Note |
25–30 | CM150GPV class | Standard PET lines |
35–40 | CM242GPV / CM320GPV class | High-speed / large bottle |

Modern PET lines recover blow air from the bottle; size the compressor to net demand after recovery to avoid oversizing.
